The Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships, established in 1998, are open to women pursuing an undergraduate degree in business leading to a business management career. The applicant must be enrolled in their second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program at the time the application is submitted. The program is designed to encourage undergraduate women to enter careers and to seek leadership positions in business-related fields. The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship looks to the women of today to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Young women in public affairs

The goal of the Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Program is to encourage more young women to participate in public and political life by recognizing a young woman's (age 16-20) commitment to the volunteer sector, evidence of volunteer leadership achievements and a dedication to the advancement of the status of women. Applicants are asked to reflect on their lives, their commitment to the communities in which they live, and the role models that have inspired them to become involved in their community or in a specific prospective career. The Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs program looks to the young women of today for the leaders of tomorrow.

Non-Traditional Student
2023 application period has closed.
The applicant should be a non-traditional student, that is, she should be continuing her post-secondary education after an extended absence of a minimum of 5 years from school.
The applicant must be resident of Mower County or attending Riverland College.
The recipient must have been accepted by and/or currently attending a post-secondary facility (college or technical school).
